Happy birthday to this album!
Today
In 1974 Joni Mitchell released Court and Spark.

A little ‘sketch’ (I’m no artist) that I did my junior year (during class.) It expresses my life long desire to one day be left handed…

I don’t know if you guys are into astrology much. Well I definitely am. This is what a birth chart looks like (this one being mine.) It takes the time you were born, date, location, and shows you exactly, to the degree, where each planet was in the sky.
Like the sun was in the sign of Taurus. Making me a Taurus. The moon was over in Sagittarius, making that my moon sign. The moon sign is your other half. Like how we’re open at one time, very shy at the next- blame it on the moon, baby.
Find, and share yours with me. I dig this stuff. alabe.com/freechart

Favorite album, to date. As in, to this very day. I wouldn’t date it. Ok I would.

“…Mr. Mainway, I’m afraid this is, by no means, a very safe toy.”
“Okay, Miss, I wanna correct you, alright. The full name of this product, as it appears in stores all over the county, is Johnny Switchblade: Adventure Punk. I mean, nothing goes wrong.. little girls buy ‘em, you know, they play games, they make up stories, nobody gets hurt. I mean, so Barbie takes a knife once in a while, or Ken gets cut. You know, there’s no harm in that. I mean, as far as I can see, you know?”

My next Billy Joel endeavor- Glass Houses. What do you guys think of this album?
It’s about 10 mins long but this is my absolute FAVORITE part of The Paul Simon Special. It was a show he aired for one night in ‘77, it’s so dry, just watch for all the subtle humor.
Mama Cass on The Smothers Brothers, which was basically the SNL of the 60’s. This skit gets me everytime.

Graham Nash on CSNY
